Each plate in the Savoir-Vivre House Rules collection starts as a found object. A piece of mid-century tableware, chosen for its original decoration, becomes the ground for an original illustration. Two histories in one object.

The illustration decal was fired permanently into the glaze. It is food safe and can be used for wall display or tableware. It includes an adhesive plate hanger for easy display in any room.

- Each plate is signed on the back with the Valeria's Music Room mark.
- The back of some plates can carry the marks of their age: an unglazed foot ring darkened over decades, the original pottery stamp, and sometimes hand-written date codes. These are features, not flaws.
