Inspired by an artist friend's stained boots — on a one-of-a-kind vintage Shenango China plate, 5.5 inches.

Each plate in the Savoir-Vivre House Rules collection starts as a found object. A piece of mid-century tableware, chosen for its original decoration, becomes the ground for an original illustration. Two histories in one object.

The illustration decal was fired permanently into the glaze. It is food safe and can be used for wall display or tableware. It includes an adhesive plate hanger for easy display in any room.

Each plate is signed with the Valeria's Music Room mark on the back. Some plates carry marks of their age. These are features, not flaws.
